Situated in the very centre of Palanga our hotel is a combination of traditional and innovative solutions. A cosy three-storied building, surrounded by the shade of pines, preserves the nostalgic pre- war spirit though with a touch of the present. The hotel combines the best traditions of rest in old Palanga with modern comfort and a complex of services that will satisfy needs of all clients.

The hotel being in its 6th decade now can suggest a specific rest zone for everyone. Here elderly people can look back at the days of their youth and new customers are attracted by the high-quality tradition, a nice servicing and, of course, by the unique beauty of the nature and serenity. For the convenience of the visitors, there is a car park by the hotel. A spacious yard where in the shade of pines lying on chaise-longues you can enjoy reading, resting, sipping coffee and having a good time together. Music Club “The right place for the right people” is the right way to characterize “Vandenis” music club. Established in summer 2005, the club preserves the spirit of “Anapilis” club that, not so long ago, was famous for its distinctive aura. Probably, this positive spirit is the reason why within less than a year “Vandenis” had become a place that is loved not only by Palanga residents, but also by guests of the city, for the opportunity to listen to some good music and relax it suggests.

The pine forest around the hotel, the nearby park founded by Tiszkewicz counts and the soughing of the sea will help to immerse in the realm of serenity and unforgettable memories. There are just 3 min. walking distance to the sea.

The airport is only 5 kilometres from the town centre, and a taxi to the hotel costs around EUR 15. The nearest seaport is Klaipeda (25 km from Palanga). Ferry lines connect this port with Karlshamn and Åhus in Sweden, Kyl, Mukran (Sassnitz) and Travemiunde in Germany, and Aarhus and Aabernaa in Denmark. Buses from Klaipeda to Palanga leave every 15 minutes. The nearest railway stations are in Kretinga (12 km) and Klaipeda. Buses from Kretinga and Klaipeda to Palanga leave every 15 minutes. There are direct buses from Riga, Liepaja, Kaliningrad and Moscow.

A cosy hotel’s café offers a wide selection of Lithuanian cuisine, which we are especially proud of, and Europea have an opportunity to regale yourself with some fresh fish, which is specially delivered to the kitchen every day. A slightly dimmed light and the interior, plunging into the spirit of the 8th decade, reflect the style of the whole hotel, saturated with antiques. A radio record-player, an accordion, white and black photos with faces of old musicians looking at you and the luxury of New York, a piano and a gramophone – all this attaches a peculiar charm and a touch of nostalgia to the café. Large windows looking upon an open terrace (for 100 people) visually enlarge the café, merging with the open space with dreamily swaying pines. Organization of banquets, fourshets and various celebrations for up to 200 people.
